International Medicine Awards

The laserneedle method was developed in 2000 by Dr.Schikora at the University of Paderborn, Germany. Since then, the method was improved and the therapeutic spectrum was extended. The laserneedle acupuncture was awarded in 2004 with the 1. International Research Award of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture(AAMA) and the Medical Acupuncture Research Foundation of the USA (MARF). The pioneering work for the scientific development of laserneedle acupuncture was done by Prof.G.Litscher (Medical University of Graz) and his colleguages.

Meanwhile the laserneedle acupuncture has become an own category in the integrative medicine. The principle and the clinical applicatións are summarized in three international books.
